Background
Community Education sits within the Caring Profession with a focus upon lifelong learning. Therefore, my many roles within Community Education focused on using education as a tool for growth, development and change for individuals, groups and whole communities.
My experience within the field of education is wide and has never been dull. I started my career working with young people on street corners and ended it managing youth projects tackling crime, poverty and unemployment.
Over the course of 16 years I held a range of basic grade, senior and management positions working with drug and alcohol users, the unemployed, community groups, schools and other partners - always working towards affecting and supporting positive change.
