Bi-Aura Therapy

Panic/Distress: Exmoor

Case History

I was called to see an incredibly aggitated and distressed horse who had torn his check ligament earlier that day and had been stabled awaiting the vet's visit and confirmation of diagnosis.

The owner had called me and was also extremely distressed as her horse was trying to escape from the stable and was clearly aggitated and very unhappy.

I visited the stable immediately and found an incredibly distressed horse who was clearly frightened. He was trying so hard to escape from the stable that I could barely get in. He was also pawing at the ground and pacing around the stable in a very aggitated manner.

I started some grounding work on him immediately as well as working directly on the injured leg. As I worked on him it was evident that this horse was absolutely terrified and therefore the primary focus of the session was to reduce his fear and terror. I continued with the grounding work and wrapped him in loving, healing energies at the end of the session.

Feedback

I couldn't believe the change in my horse. He had gone from pacing around the stable, clearly aggitated and distressed, to much more calm and relaxed after the Bi-Aura Therapy session. He was no longer trying to escape at every given opportunity and he was much more settled within himself and he no longer seemed unhappy and frightened. Obviously with a torn check ligament he would have been in a lot of pain, but he really was so much more settled and relaxed after the bi-aura treatment.

Sarah said that his fear was huge and therefore his need to escape was great as he was not used to being stabled. He also did not understand what was going on and this was also contributing to his fear. She advised that I tell him each day how much longer he had to remain in the stable and explain the reason for any changes etc as well as reassuring him that it wouldn't be too long before he was back out in the field with the others. I did this every day and what a difference it made - it was as if he understood what I was saying to him - and it kept him calm and happy.
